This apartment building with only nine flats is yet another example of “softened” modernism: a tasteful blending of contemporary development into a wooden heritage milieu. On the side of Poska Street, the third floor steps back to diminish the visual impact of the building. The facade emphasises horizontality, while the bold black wooden cladding is enlivened by orange strips. Large windows ensure plenty of sunlight, and the interior features some unusual light openings as well, which let natural light into all indoor spaces.
