The Veskimetsa Riding Centre in Tallinn is an ecological energyefficient building with a small carbon footprint. The building is in many aspects significant in Baltic region. The first things to notice about the building are an elegant wooden structure and 80 metres span, which was created with involving the most modern computer software. It results with a picturesque timber skeleton covering the main riding ground. The office and hotelfloors are hangin on the very same main frame. Until now the local fire regulations have not enabled to establish this scale of wooden public buildings, but the design process of Veskimetsa Riding Centre has basically adjusted the elaboration of new standards.
