This small lot is situated in a typical Tallinn seaside suburb. Usually all that remains of the former forest after laying out the communication networks and building the houses are some isolated birches and pines. This house tries to maintain as much of the original landscape as it’s possible. The separate volumes of the building weave themselves around the trees. Each volume is situated ideally to maximise its functionality. These contain sleeping quarters and auxiliary rooms, which are connected by the focal open kitchen and living room in the centre.
