The house is situated on the hilly terrain of the Keila riverbed some 20 kilometres west of Tallinn. The form of the building was defined by the pine tree forest surrounding it, conditioning it to pursue a small footprint and to extend its limbs over the slope underneath. The uniform black plaster finish and scarce details render an artificial object into a semi-camouflaged element of the environment while also remaining perfectly visible.
